The Task

‘Win A Kool House is a fundraiser set up by two sports clubs in Co. Wicklow that came in the form of a draw where you could buy a ticket for €105 and be in with a chance of winning a 3 bedroom house in Co. Wicklow worth €400,000. The committee approached us in January 2019 as they were struggling to reach their target having sold just 3,000 of the 10,000 ticket sales needed in 5 months. We were given 5 months to sell 6,500 tickets worth €682,500. Spoiler alert: We sold 8,353 tickets! Read on to find out how.

The Solution

  • We devised an unstoppable content marketing strategy that included regular posting of aspirational, emotion evoking content on multiple social channels and through email marketing.
  • We created bespoke graphics, thumb-stopping ad copy and multiple videos to reach a worldwide audience on every platform with Social and Google ads.

The Result

  • We surpassed the original goal of selling 6,500 tickets with a total of 8,353 tickets being sold within 5 months raising a whopping €920,000 for the clubs!
  • We reached 1,724,000 people with our social campaigns and secured 105,779 clicks on ads with 31% of overall traffic to the site coming from social.
  • Our Google ads campaigns generated 278,328 clicks at just 0.12 per click with 55% of traffic attributed to our ads.
  • Our digital marketing success was a key component in this project, helping two sports clubs to refurbish their facilities and secure their future.
